For municipalities, churches and associations

You received a letter from us? This is what it is about.

Concertbase helps choirs, orchestras and music associations find the right venue for their concert or rehearsal period, anywhere in Europe. To make this directory complete and reliable, we ask where the knowledge about these venues actually sits: with cultural offices, church administrations and associations.

The essentials at a glance

Basic listing free for all

The basic listing is permanently free. Operators can claim their profile at any time and maintain it themselves, with photos, description and conditions.

Full data control

Every entry can be corrected or removed on informal request. Personal data is handled in accordance with the GDPR; contact persons are listed with function and professional contact details only.

Value for your region

Travelling ensembles bring concerts, audiences and overnight stays. Your venues become visible across Europe, at no effort and no cost.

Which information helps us

For every venue that is used for concerts or rehearsals, or is available in principle:

  • Name and address
  • Type of venue (church, hall, cultural centre, retreat house, open air)
  • Approximate capacity
  • Available instruments (organ, piano), if known
  • Contact person or responsible office

Format and completeness are secondary: an existing list, an excerpt from your records or a referral to the responsible office already helps.

Frequently asked questions

What does inclusion in the directory cost?

Nothing. Listing is permanently free for all venues. There are no hidden costs and no later switch to a paid model for the basic listing.

How is concertbase funded?

During the build-up phase, the founders fund the operation themselves. In the future, concertbase will be funded through optional premium services (such as highlighted profiles) and service fees for complex placements. The free basic listing remains unaffected.

Who is behind concertbase?

Concertbase is operated by Wagener & Zimmermann GbR. The founders have organised coach travel for ensembles on tour for many years and know the needs of both sides from practice.

What happens with the submitted data?

Submitted venue details (name, address, capacity, contact person) are added to the directory and shown to searching ensembles. Personal data is handled in accordance with the GDPR. Every venue can claim, correct or remove its profile at any time.

Can entries be corrected or deleted?

Yes, at any time and without justification. An informal email to info@concertbase.eu is sufficient.

Why do you contact cultural offices and church administrations?

Because that is where the knowledge lives. Municipalities and church districts know the venues of their region best: from the civic hall to the concert church to the parish centre with a rehearsal room. Public data sources alone are patchy and often outdated.

Is this advertising or a mass mailing?

No. We make a specific, one-time request for data for a specialist directory. Nothing is sold and no obligation arises.
